Make the free rentals minimum of 10%-20% share ratio, because many are posting 1%-5% sharing ratio which so abusive and is not good for newbie players who has no idea about it. They will eventually quit the game if they see they’re not earning. But at the same time, have a 1 day disable of using free rentals for renters who get teams in free rentals but didnt play the team atleast 5–10games. As well as players with very low winrate (some players do this on purpose) to protect managers as well.

Any updates on PC emulators sending code to emails not working?
Any updates and sneak peaks for this month?

Suggestion for next tournaments, in addition to recording their screen, should have another device or phone to record themselves while playing as well. This is a good content and more exciting to see how the top players react to their wins/loses. Makes the livestream more exciting to watch and to avoid the issues of multi accounting and hoarding prizes in tournaments.

Let me give my perspective as a manager since the early bull market days when dragons were $100+ and token prices were much higher. First of all I would like to say that the game has been through many ups and downs (mostly downs) since the launch of the game. In 2022 there were many problems that took too long to solve, such as the lucky dragon issue and very very slow game development and severe lack of player growth. Many investors have already left long ago, such as AIAS and teebee, and I was slowly doing so as well by selling dragons slowly and almost all my special dragons. For many months before July 2023, public rentals had hundreds of team that nobody wants to rent, as high as 30% share. Even finding scholars is tough unless you have a meta team that can fight for the leaderboards. But no manager complained that there should be a cap on scholar share even during those bad times. Also, if newbie players would quit for not earning, the same can be said for managers too, and it has already happened multiple times as I have said above.
Having said that, one of the biggest cause for low manager earnings with public rental now is there are many people who rent to try out the game, or just get the daily quest, or for any other reason just play a few games (event for example). I don’t think we should disallow that. Personally I think it’s better to allow low share but have less restriction on what the renter does with the team. This way we don’t cap manager earnings and it may stimulate managers to breed more and buy more from the marketplace to increase the amount of rentals. Serious players who can afford a team would also be motivated to buy their own team from the marketplace, which is a pattern we have seen since July and that is very good for the game.

If a scholar is serious about playing the whole season and is a good player, I’m sure a manager would not mind setting up private rental with higher share, even like 25% or more. So that is an option.
Perhaps in public rental, there can be separate category that has a minimum share, but it is open for serious scholars only. There can be some criteria, such as the account age, the number of wins, previous/current season’s win rate/ranking etc

1.The free rental market is designed as an open marketplace where learners and investors can freely match. We believe that it’s best not to impose too many restrictions on the profit-sharing ratio. Let the market naturally balance its supply and demand dynamics. However, I understand your suggestion, and we can explore an alternative approach: we could offer a market with a higher profit-sharing ratio but require learners to initiate an application. Investors can then review the applicant’s historical battle data and decide whether to approve the learner. This would create an advanced matchmaking demand market.

2.We’ve observed that other players haven’t encountered this issue. Just like Axie, before sending an email, we also use the geetest verification solution. We’ve been in touch with the geetest team to address this. It seems to be related to loading issues caused by the network environment. We recommend trying on a different network or device.

3.This will be addressed in the response to the second question.

1. I think we should come up with some lore for Dragon Master. Right now it will make it more interesting if we introduce some storylines and characters and eventually integrate them into the game. Remember the story writing contest we did couple of months ago? That could be a good start. Having a storyline makes introducing new dragons into the game more interesting too. We can have more contests that includes art/animation/videos too.

2. Another idea which would be cool is creating a cinematic trailer for new dragons (not only gameplay videos, something more cool like a cutscene). This is something many other games have done so I think you know what I mean.

3. We need more cosmetics, including more accessible ones that are free so that more people can enjoy them. We have a battle pass like system now with daily check in. Maybe we should add some tasks when completed will give a free dragon skin (with no stat boost)?

4. I think game development is still too slow. Our player base is growing but the hype is plateauing again. We need to do better in player retention and the most straightforward way is to update gameplay regularly with new dragons or new features. It is not necessary to wait for the bull market to start before we start speeding up, by then it will be too late. We need to set ourself up to benefit early from the bull market, which is getting closer every day that passes. I hope the team do not become complacent and keep improving on their efforts to develop the game. Bewitch dragon is taking too long to release.

5. Login password needs to allow for special characters (for some reason it is not allowed now)

6. Any info on the synthetic game mode? The announcement created some excitement but there is no more word from the team on this to maintain the excitement. The team needs to do better to keep players excited, with regular leaks and community interaction.

7. Public player inventory page on dragonmaster website should exist

8. I have asked this before I think many months ago, can we have a public api for community developers to use? For example to build leaderboard and meta analysis

9. Lifetime treasure hunt stats please 😅 maybe add some milestone reward (cosmetics is fine)

10. What’s the future of card game mode and loot arena?

11. Suggest to have in game tournament mode, something for the future. This has also been mentioned before.

12. Any new ideas to add to existing gameplay besides new dragon? In 2022 there were more changes like the addition of different types of obstacles. We haven’t seen a similar change in a long time

1. I completely agree with this plan. Providing background stories for game characters imparts culture to the game. A culturally rich game can have a more enduring appeal and attract a broader player base. Moreover, having more animations and video content can significantly enhance DragonMaster’s market promotion.

2. Absolutely, I understand your point. Many games have gained substantial attention through high-quality promotional films in a short span. Of course, we did consider allocating a budget for this endeavor. However, I realized that producing a movie comes with significant costs. Reflecting on the concept of Tesla’s founder, Elon Musk, allocating money to the right product development is the best way to give back to consumers and users.

If the community is willing to donate a film for DragonMaster, that would be fantastic. Our marketing team can provide more artistic support.

3. Understood, now that we have a daily check-in system, developing a battle pass system is necessary. The rewards for each season’s battle pass system will vary, including a broader range of cosmetics (avatars, frames, expressions, skins, battle maps, etc.).

4. Thank you for the reminder. We have been working overtime every day recently, striving to complete new features. The team is in high gear.

5. I’ve discussed password rules with our technical engineers, and the fact that special characters cannot be used is a basic oversight. I will follow up on this detail and rectify it as soon as possible.

6. Regarding information about the synthesis gameplay, the second question has been addressed. Please refer to the teaser content.

7. Great idea to showcase player information on the DragonMaster website. This can boost community engagement for DragonMaster. Additionally, we will display guild information and leaderboards. It’s a win-win idea.

8. Indeed, mainly because we currently can’t find time to work on this.

9. This is an excellent idea. Offering limited decorations like avatars, frames, and expressions through lifelong treasure hunt data is a great incentive for users to engage in treasure hunts in the long term.

10. Both the card mode and loot arena have the potential to become championships in the future.

11. Yes, this plan has been in our development roadmap. Our future development direction involves integrating as many gameplay elements as possible into the game app, forming a comprehensive gaming ecosystem.

12. Recently, we’re planning to introduce a “star” element in battles. Each track will have a “star,” and claiming a track will grant a “star.” This approach will better reflect a player’s skill. Additionally, we’re considering adding new obstacles like the “teleportation gate” some players mentioned, which can quickly teleport dragons to specific locations for surprise attacks.

Add history in auction so we can now what prize sold the most.

I’ve seen issues/questions in the past AMA sessions about how effective the use of synthesized gems is in breeding since it gives everyone high hopes of getting a special dragon.

I’ve also tried using gems in breeding a number of times but nothing happened even if the synthesized gems’ % in probability was increased beyond my desired SD compared to what’s indicated in each of the possible large dragon type. I’ve practically given up because of these experiences.

My question is, do these gems really work? If they do, how come they did not have any effect in any of my attempts? I’m asking this now because while I said I’ve given up on this, I am giving it one last try this weekend. Everyone knows it costs so much to synthesize gems and so as the breeding process. So, I’m praying and crossing my fingers, that it would finally work, this one last time.

Gems have the effect of boosting the probability of reproduction, it’s real. For more information on the percentage of boosted stats for gems, check out the Reproduction v2.0 whitepaper.

Our development team will also be analyzing the role of gems in reproduction and may have plans to tweak it in the future.

When is rename card gonna be in daily checkin prizes 🥹. Some players have their same names for many seasons now. Hard to get in spin. And some scholars hard to show guild representation with their names anymore
