DragonMaster is committed to creating a fun and liberal metaverse competitive game. We’re sorry about the Lucky Dragon issue, but the end result is good.
Regarding the TOTEM issue, it’s hardly perfectly fair.
With the new energy system, we have optimized this mechanic to burn more TOTEM and draw for energy, which is a positive contribution to the community.
Can we have BASE DEFENSE.

- FREEZE LANE

Regarding the defense tower, that’s a good suggestion. We’ve been exploring and innovating in our gameplay lately, and this is our latest internal rendering.
There are 3 main new gameplay features as follows.
1. Track blood bar
Each track has a blood bar, which will earn a star when breached (although it will also be earned if the battle fails), and accumulating stars will unlock new features and benefits. Gives players a second goal in the game, rather than simply fighting on the same track, adding strategy and fun.
2. New cooldown system
Each card of different body types will consume different CDs, for example S dragon consumes 1 CD, M dragon consumes 2 CDs, L dragon consumes 3 CDs, XL dragon consumes 4 CDs, special dragon consumes X CDs. This will be an interesting change, players will not only focus on the speed of releasing the dragon, but also need to pay attention to the limited CDs and make a reasonable strategic match.
3. Voice chat system.

Season 7 feedback follow up
@Ethan Brown I thank you for your response to my feedback last week. And I do agree with you that giving players the option to spend to get extra ‘energy’ or ‘play chances’ and the decision to not limit player’s playtime is completely reasonable and a lot of mobile games do use this to monetise their games, which I believe is also the team’s goal when implementing the treasure hunt system. I believe that is probably fine.
However, upon further investigation this week and communicating with my scholars, the issue is not so much being able to spend totem to get more energy. The top 10 players right now are fighting bots almost all the time. Not only that, the bots are the exact same bots that new players face at low trophies. In other p2w mobile games, spending on energy is not enough to get to the top. You still need to have skills and also the dragons matter. Right now during this season, this is absolutely not the case. The top 10 could change to a bad team now and still continue to climb because they always face bots. It is not right that games at 50000 trophies is as easy as games at 100 trophies.
For season 8, that needs to change. I have some suggestions to choose from:
1. Like in previous seasons, disable bots after a certain trophy level. I understand that this may not work because of the severe lack of players right now, but this could be a long term solution.
2. Still enable bots, but make bots stronger at higher trophies. The bots at high trophy should have a special dragon. And dragon with powerful stats. As the trophy gets higher and higher, give the bot’s dragons even better stats, or give them some buffs. In my opinion, this solution makes the most sense at this moment. Bots must be easy at low trophies, and difficult at high trophies. The best longer term solution: make the bots better at the game. Right now the bot is like a very bad player.
3. Change to a proper MMR system that is similar to ELO used in other games. Following which, enable playing without energy which affects trophy gain/loss but no totem earnings.
And the worst part is, the few times the top 10 players actually face each other, the results don’t matter because they each have tons of trophy protection cards!!
And an insanely funny observation, how many in the top 10 are in the top 16 of the current tournament? 😂

We also noticed the issue with the matchmaking mechanism and top 10 users on the leaderboard in S7. As you said, it is not feasible to disable bots after reaching a certain number of rewards.
I agree with your proposed solutions.
1. Increase the difficulty of bots for high trophy counts
2. ‘Enable playing without energy which affects trophy gain/loss but no totem earnings.’ This solution could be flawed,players have no cost to gain/lose trophy, which would have a significant impact on leaderboards.
Here I would like to propose another solution.
Open a PVP competition where the challenger does not need to consume energy (requiring players of a certain trophy level to participate) , and the opponents are all players at the top of the leaderboard.
After the challenger wins, there is no TOTEM earnings, but he/she can get an honor point. The role of honor points, in addition to being a proof of strength, he/she can also share the mDMT rewards at the end of the season, the more honor points held, the more rewards earned.
What do you think of such an incentive to balance the players at the top of the leaderboard?

Improving F2P experience in order to retain more players
I strongly believe one of the biggest things that need improvement right now is the free 2 play experience. As it is now, it is just playing with 4 white dragons (also the worst dragons in the game) with absolutely no way to experience other dragons or other gameplay. One of the goal of f2p is to impress the players so much that he becomes willing to invest and be part of the game ecosystem. With a system that only allows the use of white dragon, this absolutely will not achieve that.
New players need to be able to try out other dragon types. One way is to have new player specific tasks that will unlock dragon trial cards, including special dragon trial cards. The main difference is that these trial dragons do not earn totem, similar to the free white dragons. As dragon master expands into more game modes, f2p players should not be excluded as well.
Yes. I agree with your suggestion, we will optimize the f2p experience and new player guide.
What if a newly-created account. There will be a random dragon trial cards (s,m,l,xl) will be received in the backpack for testing and it will last for 3 days or 7 days, aside from getting white dragons, so that new players can feel how competitive the game is.

Free players can unlock dragon trial cards by synthesizing upgrades, but of course, it will take some time and the process is fun.
You can also speed up the process by consuming totem to unlock dragon trial cards faster.

Breeding activity has ended. The breeding fee will be adjusted according to the token economy, it will not always remain low.
