Question 1.Will you coonsider this for “THE LOOP” upgrade.
- Loop upgrade means using 2 x 5/5 breed dragons to get 1 virgin dragon.
- The totem burn for 5/5 breed dragon is high.
- To encourage such burn for totem, do incentives players with a higher chance of getting new family dragon. (Even if it is 10% higher chance)

Breeding V2 launch.
Will you consider launching Breeding V2 to coincide with the seasonal payout?This will DAMPEN the usual thumble of price of DMT and TOTEM after each SEASONAL REWARD payout.
Question 1
In Breeding V2, we have upgraded “THE LOOP”.
In fact, a 5/5 can breed with other dragons at any time, and after breeding, it will be destroyed.
The whitepaper mentions inside that a 5/5 dragon breeding does not need to consume TOTEM, because double consumption is damaging for the players.
Question 2
We will release Breeding V2 as soon as possible, and this has nothing to do with season reward distribution.

DMT utility/stabilityDuring the August 19 ama Daniel mentioned there will be a upcoming consumption scenario for DMT, and also preparation for multichain plan. That was in response to my question on why the need to transfer DMT. Are there any updates on this?
And today I raise this because it is very important to have a token that actually has utility. Right now there is absolutely no incentive to hold DMT. It is not used in governance, it cannot be staked, it doesn’t help to farm anything. In other words once people get DMT they use what they need for breeding and then dump the rest. This happens every post season when leaderboard rewards are released. So much DMT is being released into the ecosystem but they are almost completely useless and we will for sure see a huge race to dump dmt again next week.
So my main questions/concerns are:
- There needs to be a reason to hold DMT. For TOTEM, there are 2 reasons: to reduce durability repair cost and to farm DMT. For DMT, there is nothing at all. The alternative is, we need much more utility for DMT. Breeding is probably not enough even with v2. I believe we need more.
- Too many LB spots being paid. I don’t know if it makes sense to pay 15 to 20% of active players rewards in the LB (or paying too much). It works well in the short term (like now) But if DMT continues to plunge, then we have a situation where daily rewards are low and also LB rewards are low. That will kill alot of motivation. I feel this is something that has to be looked into. Or the team could spend some marketing budget to buyback DMT to maintain the attractiveness of LB rewards to continue growing the game.

Yes, we agree with you. About this question, we are sorry to the community that we didn’t do a better job in sharing information about the product.
Throughout the blockchain gaming industry, the discussion about the future of Gamefi was pessimistic and uncertain. We were once lost, but we found our way and now the team is firm and confident in implementing these plans. The current value of DMT is, in our opinion, severely undervalued.
Back to your question.
1. Multi-chain plan, our development team has finished testing the deployment of smart contracts on the major public chains, waiting for the right opportunity, we are ready to execute this plan. (In September, we will take time to write a white paper on the multi-chain plan and release it to the community).
2. DMT is different from TOTEM , it is limited. Despite the future release of the multi-chain plan, its total circulation will still be 1 billion and will not change. (We have seen some projects implementing multi-chain plans where the total circulation exceeds the total amount of tokens promised, which is a problem).
3. Currently, the only consumption scenario of DMT is breeding, so I understand your concern. Please believe us, it has more than just this consumption scenario, we are developing the treasure hunting feature, maybe you will see its fascination soon.
4. DMT is just like the stock of a traditional listed company, it is one of the strongest testimonies to follow the growth of the project. We don’t do pyramid schemes that ‘bullish’ to the community, that’s not our style. We will eventually prove to the community members who hold DMT that they made the right choice.

when are you going to put surrender button in the game? we all know that your game is not balance especially in searching a opponent, then atleast put surrender button so that we can end the game fast by surrending, cause its a waste of time playing against a top opponent vs lower trophy. i think many of the players here already suggested this matter but still no move.
In fact we answered this question before.
1. Unlike most traditional games, we battle for about 2~3 minutes a game, which is not long, and we encourage players to not give up fighting at any time.
2. We are making efforts on balance, such as improvements to Lucky Dragon and the upcoming launch of new dragons.

Lucky Dragon Issue
It’s clear this one has sowed a lot of discord and has led to unhappiness in investors. My honest feeling is that we are in a shitty spot now regarding this issue, and it is simply caused by 1 thing: not taking action earlier. It has been known for many seasons how broken the ability of lucky dragons are in such a game, and people, including me, have been asking for balance change for several seasons already. This led to more and more guilds buying more and more lucky dragons to keep up with the meta, and it ended up getting so many of us hurt. On the other hand, there is no choice, we still need to fix the lucky dragon issue because the meta is now stale af and people who don’t have access to lucky L/XL are unhappy (which are basically all the newer players, who we also need to retain to grow the game). So either way, there will be unhappy people. The difference is, if the issue was solved earlier, the damage would have been smaller. I hope the team learns a big lesson from this.
From my experience in trading card games and other strategy games, there is no way to create a perfectly balanced meta. The lucky dragon issue is not new. I have already seen and experienced the same dissatisfaction in other games. Take for example, magic: the gathering, the biggest trading card game ever made and still having millions of players world wide and a huge competitive scene. Magic: the gathering releases new cards every couple of months, and more often than not, there are some broken cards. As a player, we have to buy cards in order to put them in our deck (very similar to NFT games) and one big consideration that I always had to make, is whether the investment was worth it. Because, broken cards are always the most expensive when they are just released, and once they are banned (which always happened if it was truly broken), the card literally becomes worthless. This has happened several times and the players just have to live with it. Yes people were unhappy for losing their investment but the game did not die, and they usually do not quit (Also I cannot imagine how much the card shops lose because they have to hold inventory for in demand cards). So I say to the team, do your best to create balanced dragons but don’t be surprised if some of them turn out to be more powerful than you thought, because that is normal in this genre. However, what the team needs to do is, or do a lot more of, is to analyse the data of the top ranked teams. Analyse which dragons are underused, which are overused, which has too high/too low win rate. And in addition to that, gather feedback from the community as soon as possible, and throughout the season, so that necessary changes can be made before the following season starts. Waiting for more than 1 season is too long if the data/feedback is too obvious (like for lucky dragons), we are probably 3–4 seasons late on the needed changes.
I have a suggestion that could lessen the damage on investors, but will require the team to take a hit (which I think is fair because of this mistake). Give L and XL lucky dragon holders a way to exchange their dragons into one of the new dragons of the same size, or something of value that can fairly compensate the holders. Or buyback the L/XL lucky dragons for a fair price. Whatever it is, basically it involves compensating the L and XL lucky holders fairly. To be honest I have not seen any game that does this so I won’t be surprised if it is the same here, but the main difference here is the changes were too late, and too many people are getting hurt. It could be something that needs to be done only once, and you avoid making the same mistake in the future. The closest I have seen is hearthstone giving full dust back for nerfed cards, while letting the player keep the nerfed cards. Maybe something similar can be considered for this scenario and future nerfs. That way investors will feel more protected.
And also worth mentioning, Axie also had to do balance changes all the time and also faced similar challenges. The mistake they made for the initial balance changes was not listening to the community, so some of the changes were very unnecessary and probably made the meta even worse.

2. We agree with your suggestion. Having made a mistake on the Lucky Dragon incident, in addition to coming up with a solution, we should also provide a compensation plan for players.
About the compensation plan, we will announce and vote to the community before the launch of the new Lucky Dragon.

MarketingToday we had our first live stream of a dragon master tournament, and it was bitter sweet for me. Happy because of the great atmosphere, the much better than expected and close games and great entertainment. Sad because no one outside our community was able to see it.
I and many others have mentioned about marketing before. This game is still relatively unknown to most people. And despite the game being in the play store/app store, it does not gain any traction at all. There are already other crypto games in the play store that have many downloads and reviews.
I understand that there are greater concerns that need to be fixed for example the lucky dragon issue I mentioned and the lack of diversified meta, and also this game still needs some more features to be a top mobile game. I believe it was mentioned before after these series of updates are done, there is one main thing that will be done:
- Reveal yourselves to the community. This is the most important. If you do not reveal yourself you can’t participate in any in person marketing events which are getting very popular again this year. You also cannot speak face to face with the community. We have been waiting for this for months now, and there were times in recent weeks that you guys refuse to answer when people asked when you will reveal yourselves. I hope you don’t ignore me/us this time.
Please also elaborate your marketing plans. The free dragon event alone is not sufficient and it is evident that last couple of weeks player growth has already plateaued. The event also does not attract new guilds or investors, instead it attracts players who just care about earning 30 totem a day (I have mentioned this before). Furthermore I feel the f2p experience isn’t close to being good enough to convince players to invest in dragon master NFTs. The white dragons get very boring after a while. I don’t think f2p should just be a sneak peek to the game, but rather a different experience. Anyway back to marketing, are you planning to promote on social media platform? How much budget are you allocating to marketing. Because honestly right now nothing is visible to me at all. How would people know about the game then? I know you guys are talking about partnerships with other parties etc, but people still don’t know about the game. Many guilds still don’t know about the game.I believe I have seen some opinions and there may be many others who agree, that this is one of the most poorly marketed games. It’s a good game and I think many hope this will change soon.

Regarding team disclosure, we also mentioned more than once that we will make it public in due course, soon.
Also about the weekly marketing expenses you can see it in our weekly report, I think it’s included in ‘Operating expenses’.
We now have influencers doing videos for us every week, which you can see in the #influencer-content channel, and about the guild events, we have invited Youtubers and Facebook streamers to participate in the live events, which may not be very effective from the feedback.
Obviously we will have many tournaments in the future, and we will learn from the shortage in this tournament event, in order to make the next one more perfect.
About marketing, we plan to collect good suggestions from you regularly, you can leave us a message to our MOD or in Candy, we will give some rewards for excellent suggestions. Of course, we hope your suggestions will be as detailed as possible.

Miscellaneous1. Searching for dragon id above 10000 in manage scholars is still not fixed, although the team said it’s fixed in last AMA.
2. Please give us a way to filter rented/unrented in our dragons page.

5. Other people have great suggestions like equipment for dragons to make the game more complex. I fully agree and I think a well designed system will be really nice (other NFT games are going toward item/crafting based economy, and are successful so far. I believe it is another way for players to earn without relying on token prices)
1. OK, we fixed the free rental last time and it seems to be a search issue with paid rentals. We have fed back to the development team, please retry again later.
2. After breeding V2 is launched, our dragon page will support the filtering of rented/unrented features. It is expected to be available next week.

Do you have any plans changing the energy system?
My top player who is #1 on the leaderboard needs 4 hours just to use the energy he gets on a new day
He says it takes like 5 minutes to find an opponent
I played against some bots when I was playing which could also be a good solution

Currently when the number of trophies reaches a certain number, only real players can be matched.
We will consider optimizing this mechanic so that players don’t have to wait too long.
There is no incentives for breeder to go 5/5.

The higher the number of breeding, the higher the probability of inheriting the parents’ species, which is the reason why players are encouraged to breed a higher number of times.

Most of the players are asking for energy system change, not solely because of the high waiting time for lb players but also generally time consuming especially before and after reset. People r not always free during that time and some are also working individuals. Make the energy system not so time consuming with a new energy system so people can play and grind whenever they are free. This can players really enjoy the game without time constraint. Have a fixed/no reset like back in beta energy system pls

Yes, we have plans in S6 to upgrade some abilities for dragons with low victory. (It won’t be very high)
