This is Chuck from DragonMaster, I’m so happy to join this AMA with IGG. Thanks to all the players, IGG and DragonMaster, much appreciated for your support.
1. What is DragonMasters all about?
DragonMaster is the first blockchain-based Metaverse game that blends RTS, MOBA, Collection, and Play-to-Earn gameplay. Players can collect, capture, complete missions, and lead into battles with other players.
Players can freely develop their own home towns, defend against enemies through appropriate deployment, empower themselves through battles and resources plundering, and group engagements.
2. Could you shed more light on some gameplay?
There are 4 sizes of dragons, S / M / L / XL. Players will have their chance to get their dragons in the genesis dragon egg drop or future breeds.
The dragons will compete on the battlefield of 5 tracks, where both players can choose the tracks to send out the dragons based on their strategies. When in battle, the larger-weight dragons can push the lighter ones to the end of the track and cause damage to the pushed player’s HP. When one player’s HP hits zero, the winner will be announced.
Players can battle it out in PVP with a season-by-season ranked leader board. A daily mission system allows them to earn rewards. A player can trade dragons, breed dragons, or HODL them in a collection.
3. What’s the PTE model for DragonMasters? What intrigued you to think of this model?
You could pretty much tell from the picture down below.
Play-to-Earn, as in which players can make actual money based on how much time and effort they put into a game. It’s also part of broader trends — the changing relationship between players and platforms, new incentives for participants in blockchain-based networks.
Play to Earn is an important aspect of the Dragon Metaverse, we want the players to get a share of the revenue, and we want it to be sustainable.
4. Where can people find this game? Where is this listed?
There is big news just to be released, DragonMaster has been listed on Google Play.
It’s a Beta Test version, of course, players need to get Early Access to the gameplay.
Meanwhile, you can always find it on the official website, and we are working on the App Store part, stay tuned.
5. What chain is DragonMasters on?
DragonMaster has drawn on the practices and experiences of various games to come up with the following principles at the beginning.
- The technical solution could not rely entirely on the blockchain network, as this would be incompatible with the gaming experience.
- All game assets should be secure.
- Transaction fees cannot be too high.
- The performance of a blockchain network must be efficient.
The advantage of the Ethereum network is that its consensus mechanism effectively guarantees the safety of player assets. But as the price of ETH climbs in 2021, the gas fee has escalated to a crazy level, which is not in line with the concept of Play-to-Earn. Second, the TPS (Transactions Per Second) of Ethereum 1.0 is around 15–17 transactions, while the TPS of ETH 2.0 using Rollup can reach 4,000~5,000 transactions, which is still inadequate to satisfy the demands of gamers.
As a solution for Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks, Polygon enables fast, inexpensive, and secure payment transactions with smart contracts. Furthermore, Polygon allows projects built on Ethereum to be easily migrated to it with only simple adjustments.
With Polygon, DragonMaster players will be able to benefit from super fast and affordable transactions, with a better gaming experience.
6. Classes or Types of dragons on this game?

The dragons for our 2.0 version are also in development, but the details are being kept under wraps for now.
7. Thoughts on Revenue sharing and how y’all implemented it?
DragonMaster will take the majority of its revenue and return it to the players who have contributed. Players will be delighted to receive a share of platform revenue besides their daily Play-to-Earn rewards.
